Dual fusing for constant speed
With dual fusing technology, imagePRESS C7010VPS digital color presses achieve a maximum speed of 71 ipm on all supported media, with weights up to 325 g/m2. Heavy and coated media pass through two fusing stations, while light, plain papers are fused once. This media-oriented fusing mechanism produces output with an optimal and consistent gloss finish for an offset look and feel.
Plan-ahead production with intelligent job scheduler
The imagePRESS C7010VPS series features an industry-unique graphical user interface with intelligent job scheduler. The job scheduler displays every queued job, providing an overview of work scheduled for the day and the production planning possibility for up to 8 hours. Intuitive visual indicators support the operator to precisely control the production. At a glance, you know time to completion for specific jobs based on the media type, set and run length and intermediate automatic quality assurance procedures. You can tell where and how much of your media is loaded, and which finishers are installed and in use. An operator attention light displays the status of the printer - even from a distance. Depending on the operator’s preference the attention light signals upcoming operator interventions such as necessary media refill several minutes before the actual event - and gives you time to prevent a production stop!

imagePRESS C7010VPS advanced feeding technologies include vacuum feed and air separation for reliable feeding of different paper types including uncoated, specialty stocks from 60 to 325 gsm and coated media as light as 70 gsm. Dehumidification heaters in all production trays ensure that highly static coated media feed correctly even in humid environments - all to ensure that your digital color press keeps running without disruption.
Real-time automatic color calibration for your peace of mind

Automatic and Reciprocal Color Density Adjustment Technology (ARCDAT) detects the density of color patches on the photoconductor drum to calibrate every line per inch in real time. This ensures reliable and consistent output quality and peace of mind for even the most demanding operator.
For quick, periodic adjustments, imagePRESS C7010VPS digital color presses measure color patches on media using a color toner density sensor in the post-fusing process. So, unlike other systems, there’s no need to print and scan test prints to perform calibration. The result? A vastly simplified calibration process.
High image quality with V-toner and gloss optimization
The imagePRESS C7010VPS series uses oil-free V-toner technology, which combines the wide color gamut of pulverized toner with the best of polymerized toner. Gloss optimization technology ensures a smooth finish on any media - you even can fine-tune gloss based on specific media settings. V-toner uses wax, which, in combination with T-carrier developer, improves conductivity for increased image development stability. The result – extremely high image quality and reliability.
Image control technologies for stable color output – in changing conditions
In addition to a steady supply of toner and ATR (Automated Toner Replenisher) the imagePRESS C7010VPS series incorporates toner density stabilizing technology. This exclusive technology calculates the amount of toner charged by electric discharge based on temperature, humidity and toner density levels measured by the temperature and humidity sensor inside the developer unit to control the lookup table (LUT) and laser power. Together with continuous air circulation in the print engine, the imagePRESS C7010VPS performs with excellent consistency on virtually any media.
Color presets
Color presets are templates of optimal color settings, which a specialist user can predefine for common workflows. Think of color presets for specific types of print products or for jobs coming from certain customers.
