Océ requires its suppliers to adopt the same high standards with regard to sustainability as it applies to its own activities. To formalize this requirement, Océ joined the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) and adopted the Electronic Industry Code of Conduct. The code of conduct outlines standards to ensure that working conditions in the electronics industry supply chain are safe, that workers are treated with respect and dignity, and that manufacturing processes are environmentally responsible.
Océ is committed to progressively align its own operations with the provisions of the EICC code of conduct and to support and encourage its own first-tier suppliers to do the same.
