IT Security
Océ is committed to providing customers with systems that optimize the workflow while also providing a secure printing environment. To ensure consistent security support, Océ was an active contributor to the new international security standards defined by IEEE P2600. In order to effectively manage the security support and maintenance of its products during their entire life cycle, Océ proactively created security policies including a Security Organization with two objectives:
- Permanently enforce security rules for the development of new products
- Provide customers with up-to-date security information on existing Océ products.
Océ R&D has implemented the Océ Security Standards to ensure that all newly developed products comply with security requirements. To ensure that customers have up-to-date security, Océ has implemented the following:
- Security WebPages for addressing Operating System issues - provides security patch(es) for Microsoft Windows driven systems, among other things.
- The Océ Security Manual containing detailed technical information, tips, FAQs and security procedures to configure the required security settings on Océ systems.
- A Security Officer in each Operational Company for any local questions, problems or advice.
