PrintValley
Océ leads a consortium of 23 knowledge institutes, universities and high-tech companies of all sizes working on advanced digital printing applications. Within PrintValley, Océ is reinforcing the development of new printing platforms based on advanced inkjet technology for fields as varied as displays, solar cells, packaging and security tags. The Dutch government has provided over € 20 million grant over two years for this initiative. Some 180 FTEs (full-time equivalents) research positions were created within PrintValley, including 80 Océ FTEs. Océ’s membership of Point-One was instrumental in setting up PrintValley.
Point-One is a Dutch government-sponsored association stimulating R&D partnerships in the areas of mechatronics, nanotechnology and embedded systems.
